Occupy Wall Street protesters bloodied, beaten in New York (video)

On November 17, 2011, the protests that began in New York dubbed “Occupy Wall Street” celebrated two-months of demonstration in what may have been one of the bloodiest days in the organized movement’s brief history. A video posted by Citizen Tube showed one protester with blood dripping down his forehead as a swarm of police officers continued to push him back. Shouts were heard in the background of “Police Brutality.” How the protester became bloodied has not been verified and at this point, we must say “alleged” police brutality may be the cause of this man’s injuries.

While watching the video, you can hear the police as they order the protesters to move. You may see what appears to be riot police down on the ground apparently confronting protesters that have fell or possibly been thrown. There is no immediate attempt to help the wounded man who appears dazed and stunned. The incident occurred in the middle of Zuccotti Park. You may view the video below.
