After breast biopsy age affects short-term quality of life

As per a recent research published in journal Radiology it has been suggested that the breast biopsies can lead to adverse affect short-term quality-of-life. The study further found that these effects are more prominent in the younger patients. These real Percutaneous biopsies are related with the fewer complications as compared to the surgical approach. There are many significant short-term side effects that are related to pain and emotional distress. If a lady has to go through it she should be fully prepared for such situation. Also the medical practitioners should suggests the patients in a better way.The co-researcher, Janie M. Lee, M.D., M.Sc., former staff radiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in Boston and assistant professor at Harvard explains, “Short-term experiences can have a long-term impact. If people have a less than positive experience during biopsy, then they might be less likely to come back for screening the next time they are due.”
