Nutrition and Obesity are keys to avoid metabolic syndrome
According to a new study suggested that the nutrition and obesity are the major key ingredients to avoid the metabolic syndrome. As per the data reported by the Hearts Beat Back they suggests that The Heart of New Ulm Project reinforce a very positive influence on the lifestyle factors in justifying risks that potentially increase the chances of heart disease and other health problems. This research is based on 1,059 residents of New Ulm, Minn. These are the people those who do not give much importance to their health routine. They are not engaged in obesity prevention and nutrition check. They were specifically asked to eat more fruits and vegetables. This will help in addressing metabolic syndrome that is a common precursor to cardiovascular disease.
The lead researcher, Jackie Boucher, MS, RD, LD, CDE, Vice President for Education, Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation explains that “These findings clearly support national recommendations encouraging individuals to achieve energy balance and to increase fruit and vegetable consumption. Our data suggests that there is a clear connection between increased body weight or the decrease in the consumption of fruits and vegetables, and the development of metabolic syndrome, a clustering of CVD risk factors."
