US doctors suggest good use of cholesterol drugs

Heart diseases have also been a topic of concern. They are one of the leading causes of deaths. As per a new research it has been found that the US doctors are widely using cholesterol for fighting statin drugs. They are using to prevent and control heart attacks and strokes. Though the doctors are recommending it but the new U.S. heart disease prevention guidelines have a futuristic approach for it. The guidelines are mostly focusing more broadly on the risk and also moving away from specific numerical targets for cholesterol. Through these recommendations, not only the doctors will be to control heart attacks they will also able to get control over strokes. This will ensure a healthy and hearty life for the patients. The co-researcher, Dr. Neil Stone, the Northwestern University doctor explains, “The emphasis is to try to treat more appropriately. We're going to give statins to those who are the most likely to benefit.”
