High unvaccinated adults death each year due to preventable diseases

According to a new study conducted at the University Of Colorado School Of Medicine reveals that due to low vaccination rates thousands of unvaccinated adults die. These preventable diseases could be easily avoided with proper vaccinations. The study, published in the Annals of Internal Medicine. This is the first research to inspect several aspects of adult vaccination. It has been found that every year, around 30,000 people due to vaccine preventable illnesses. This is a staggering figure. It shook the researchers and made them find out a way to deal with this problem. Laura Hurley, MD, MPH, the lead author of the study and also an assistant professor of medicine at the CU School of Medicine explains, “Our study suggests that missed opportunities for adult vaccination are common because vaccination status is not being assessed at every (physician's) visit, which is admittedly an ambitious goal. Also, most physicians are not stocking all recommended vaccines.”
