Vaccination Will Reduce Flu Risks
Risk of flu can be reduced by vaccination says the Public Health Department of England. In their quest for achievement of the objective of immunization against flu attacks they have now introduced a new nasal vaccine for children in the age group of 2-3 years. These people are important because they are considered to be the potential spreader of the disease.
The attempt came on the wake of the fact that over eight hundred children attacked with flu were admitted in hospital last year. Now the Public Health Department in UK has started a full-fledged campaign to advertise the use of the vaccines for children of 2-3 years in age.
“You are eleven times more likely to die from flu if you are in a clinical at risk group”, says Prof Dame Sally Davies. According to finding in the research, children are more vulnerable to flu attacks because they come into contact with numerous careers of virus that include other children and aged people.
