4 out of 10 men take vitamins on daily basis

4 out of 10 men are taking vitamins on a daily basis, in order to have a healthy lifestyle. This trend can be particularly observed on the present market of the United Kingdom. According to market analyst Mintel, 46% of women opt for daily vitamins consumption but the rate of men for this habit has significantly increased up to 38%.

Men are usually taking pills that contain vitamin A and D, zinc and magnesium because all of these are considered to be beneficial for strengthening and boosting the bones and for prostate-related problems and memory loss prevention.

“There have been few vitamin launches targeted at men, particularly when it comes to vitamins with appearance benefits”, said a spokesman at the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities. It is also proven that 1 out of 5 men are taking vitamins occasionally when they are feeling down.
