New range of antibiotics found

There has been striking discovery made in field of medicines and science. Here scientist found a fresh class of antibiotics that will help to fight the deadly bacteria including methicillin, Staphylococcus aureus and other drug-resistant bacteria that are big threats to the public health. These discoveries will millions of people all over the world to overcome the bacterial issues. These new class are named as oxadiazoles that has been discovered in the University of Notre Dame in researches led by Mayland Chang and Shahriar Mobashery in silico. For this discovery researchers screened around 1.2 million compounds and then concluded that the oxadiazole restrains a penicillin-binding protein, PBP2a, and the biosynthesis from the cell wall enables MRSA to control other drugs. Throwing light on the discovery co-researcher Mayland Chang explained, “The Professor Mobashery has been working on the mechanisms of resistance in MRSA for a very long time. As we understand what the mechanisms are, we can devise strategies to develop compounds against MRSA.”
