New technology promises efficient results in vaccine development
Vaccine development is the need of the hour. There are number of issues and diseases that can controlled by proper vaccinations. To solve this problem the Scientists from the Center for Innovations in Medicine in the Biodesign Institute at Arizona State University have made a comprehensive, the microchip-based technology, called immunosignature diagnosis that will help to measure vaccine responses in a person. Through this the effective of vaccination could be measured on a person. This report was published in journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Through these research medical practitioners does not have to apply hit and trial method about vaccination.
The co-researcher Professor Stephen Albert Johnston, Director the Center for Innovations and Medicine at the Biodesign Institute explains, “We developed the immunosignature technology primarily for early detection of disease, but realized it may have other applications. In this work we demonstrate that it may also be useful for screening candidate vaccines.”
