Women’s are not suffered from chest pain when they have ACS
The JAMA international Medicine found that as compared to men, women do not suffer from chest pain in acute syndrome. Chest pain which was one of the symptoms of ACS is now no more having the same situation. M.D.Nadia Khan and her team found that less amount of women has the chest pain as compared to men.
The team concluded on the basis of study where 1.015 patients were hospitalized among which 80 percent of both sexes suffer from chest pain but women among them were less as compared to menthe main reason of not chest pain symptom is weakness, sweat and also pain in arms and shoulders.
The study says that chest pain is one of the common symptoms of ACS but women suffered from ACS without any pain. The researches say that there are less chance to predict ACS without chest pain in both men and women. The women’s hospital Boston says that” Meanwhile, it is prudent for public health messages to target both men and women regarding ACS symptom presentation with or without chest pain so as to encourage earlier and more widespread access to appropriate and lifesaving care”.
