Black Women Becomes Prone to Breast Cancer

Occurrence of breast cancer among black women increases according to a new report. On the other hand, medical experts are not really certain about the cause of this phenomenon. Government statistics have shown that about 200,000 women will be subject to breast cancer screening for the year 2013. In a more saddening note, about 39,000 will be expected to succumb to death due to the disease.

The study further showed that eight out of 10 cases of breast cancer and about almost ten in another case include women who are above 50 years old. In previous studies, it has been found out that black women who suffer from this health condition are worse as compared to white women with the same ailment.

In a study opened at the medical conference conducted by the American Association for Cancer Research, black women have higher tendencies of dying when compared to those white women victims of breast cancer.
