Infants easily acquire new words across cultures
According to study conducted at Northwestern University proves that infants acquire and learn different languages very easily. The infants can easily learn different languages especially the noun friendly languages like English, and also verb friendly languages like Hindi, Japanese and Koreans.
This research has proved that infants can easily and quickly. This is in addition to learning their native language. They can easily grasp and follow the language. Through this can easily speak it.
The lead author of the study Sudha Arunachalam, assistant professor of speech and hearing sciences at Boston University, “Almost all of the research on infants acquiring these ‘verb-friendly’ languages has looked at the nouns and verbs that they produce in their daily lives. By using an experimental method instead, our approach lets us watch infants acquire new words, so we can get real insight into the mental processes that are at work during learning.”
