Scientists reduce the progression the most aggressive skin cancers in mice
Cancer is a real deadly disease. Researchers have been working really hard to identify and chart out various treatments to cure this disease. Lately as per a study as flowed out a novel mechanism through which c-Fos cells can be reduced. C-Fos is known for developing skin cancer. This is one of the most common problem. Currently the experiment has been used over mice. It still has to go a long way to find a place in medical treatment. This is another big leap against this deadly disease. This step will definitely help to cure the disease in coming times.
One of the authors Eva Briso, explains the study, that “We have discovered that mice that have higher c-Fos expression in the skin promote the recruitment of immune cells, known as CD4+T, leading to the development of skin lesions and carcinogenesis. When mice were treated with anti-inflammatory drugs that specifically blocked CD4+T cell-mediated immune response, tumors decreased.”
