Study says -Twin birth doesn't have to be a C-section

It was believed that C-section was a safe way to have twin babies. According to this new research published in journal New England Journal of Medicine, proves that the selected moms and babies can do equally well whether the doctors are planning for a cesarean section or for a vaginal delivery. They should opt for surgery only when the vaginal delivery ends up risky. There is definitely no hard and fast rule as to what to follow and what not to. So, it depends upon mother and doctor to choose the right way of twin delivery. Michael Greene, chief of obstetrics at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston feels positive about the study, he explains, “Plan to deliver appropriately selected sets of twins vaginally is a reasonably safe choice in skilled hands. The practice in the United States may not change — partly because there's been a "gradual disappearance" of the skills doctors need to handle breech births or other complicated vaginal births.”
