Study shows that Post-menopausal hormone therapy should be limited
According to a new study conducted it was proved that the therapy is always not a ‘working possibility’ for the post menopausal hormone. It should be limited to a level. If that goes beyond it is of no utter importance and usage.
It is believed that this therapy may lead to long term influence on the patient. In reality it is not a big help. Rather it shows same results as short term therapy. So, the researchers are now recommending curbing it down and going in for short term therapies. It is up to the patient what to choose and what not to.
The expert Margery Gass, executive director of the North American Menopause Society, explains “This paper clearly demonstrates just how complex hormones are. They affect so many systems of the body. They have different effects at different ages. They affect different women differently, depending on their health status, their risk factors and their priorities.”
