Now the U.S. health officials have earnestly working to end cigarette smoking in America. Specifically on this subject, the U.S. Surgeon General Boris Lushniak has forwarded a 980 pages report. This report signifies that smoking has been pushed up by the tobacco control measures. He has been stressing on curbing smoking activities. Further in an interview he explains, “I can't accept that we're just allowing these numbers to trickle down. We believe we have the public health tools to get us to the zero level.” In his report he has emphasized that innocent people are tricked by the tobacco companies on cost of their health. It is the time when government should tighten their grips and work to eradicate smoking from the country.
