Reduce Breast Cancer Risks Through Walking Daily

Regular walking could be one of the best remedies for breast cancer, according to a recent research. The solution is simple and to the liking of many and can easily revolutionize the medical world. According to the study report; postmenopausal women indulging in walking for seven hours or more a week had considerably reduced risks of breast cancer. According to the research team who published their work in the American Association for Cancer Research journal the risk could be lower by 14%. “We examined whether recreational physical activity, specifically walking, was associated with lower breast cancer risk. Given that more than 60 percent of women report some daily walking, promoting walking as a healthy leisure-time activity could be an effective strategy for increasing physical activity among postmenopausal women,” said Alpa Patel, Ph.D. Without any corroborating activities, simple walking could reduce the chances of breast cancer considerably in women. Best part of the finding was that the benefits derived by walking were not affected in any way by the anatomic features of the performer.
