Vaccination Campaign have doubled the HBV Mutations

Hepatitis B is universal disease. Every year it affects millions of people. To protect the infants from its bitter taste an infant vaccination campaign was held in China that helped in turn to control this disease. According to a research conducted by Chinese Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill it was found that this camp has controlled the disease vastly.

Hepatitis B is a very dangerous and affects the liver of the patient. It is a deadly disease. It needs to be taken care of with awareness and proper vaccination. This leads to the need of this camp. As per the research this camp has successfully covered the major infants and has successfully saved them.

As per one of the researcher, Tao Bian from Chapel Hill says, “The vaccine remains quite effective, but that because escape mutants are likely to increase, public health officials need to track the rise of escape mutants, in order to know when it becomes time to consider new vaccination strategies.”
