Autism not a limit just as side of experience

Lately Temple Grandin, a professor belonging to the animal science at Colorado State, shared her experience with the autism. She was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2. Through her experience and study she brought forward that even during special education much is focused on the deficits rather than developing the strengths of a person. She emphasized that autism is a phase of life it should not define or limit anybody’s life. Further it was observed that even 10-year old kids completely struck up with their autism and limited to their handicapped mentality. Continuing with such situation is not advisable for the kids and their parents. Grandin further advised to the autistic people working in the job market, “You need to sell your work, not yourself. Create a portfolio to show your work and carry it around with you. It was a practical note keeping with her wider message, that those with different thinking have much to offer.”
