Domestic Violence And Family Stress Hinder Growth Of Children

Recent study reveals that those families in which kids are exposed to family violence and stress at very small age are more likely to have disorder or faces problem in their language and other skills. Children grow up in these families failed to reach the development level at which children of their age group must relies. "Likewise, children that fail to attain important developmental milestones should be screened for intimate-partner violence and parental psychological distress so that these risk factors may also be addressed if present," said Amy Lewis Gilbert, Assistant professor at Indiana University of Medicine. Every year an approximate population of 1.5 millions females and 835,000 men suffer from domestic violence under the terms of relationship. This is merely estimation as number of such cases isn’t reported by people. In the year 2011 a study was conducted which stated that every year 10 million children suffer in such of domestic violence.
