Lasers can be used to cure Alzheimer's and Parkinson's

According to a research conducted at Chalmers University of Technology suggested that there is a possibility to distinguish between the aggregations of the proteins that are believed to be root cause of the diseases. The researchers have also suggested appropriate cure or the treatment for the same. The research team has found out that the photo therapy may prove effective to treat neurodegenerative conditions including Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. They could bring back well functioning of the proteins in the body with the help of multi-photon laser technique. The co-researcher, Piotr Hanczyc from the Chalmers University of Technology explains, “Nobody has talked about using only light to treat these diseases until now. This is a totally new approach and we believe that this might become a breakthrough in the research of diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. We have found a totally new way of discovering these structures using just laser light.”
