Leisure-time exercise can help to reduce risk of high blood pressure

The life is stuffed with all kinds of tensions. High blood pressure is a common problem these days. Youngsters are even swapped with this problem. Well medication is one way to control it and the other is exercising. According to the latest research conducted at American Heart Association published in journal Hypertension shows that exercising in your leisure and free time could help to keep a check on your hypertension issues. The research proves that more you exercise the more easily you can control your high blood pressure, this in turn will also save you from other cardiovascular diseases. The co-author of the study, Wei Ma, M.D., Ph.D., associate professor at the Shandong University School of Public Health in Jinan, China explains, “Hypertension is a risk factor for cardiovascular and kidney disease—thus, it is important to prevent and control hypertension. To try to lower your risk of high blood pressure, you should exercise more in your leisure time.”
