Nerve-System Implants can reduce chemotherapy Unwanted Side effects

A study states that it is possible to treat tumors via nerve system implanting could be more target prone, and possibly reduce the unwanted side-effects includes loss of hair, weakness and sometime nausea, which is happen due to the side-effect of chemotherapy medicines, as it also hampers the healthy tissues along with killing the cancer tissues. The medical practitioners revealed that they can easily make an option, so the drugs, become active only when they come into contact with palladium coated small device inside patients tumors, which minimized the overall physical hamper of the patient. For safety purpose they initially tested it on animals, under the guidance of Edinburgh Cancer Research UK Centre at the MRC. "It will be several years before we're able to start treating patients but we're hopeful that this approach will lead to better tolerated cancer therapies in the future”, says by the leader of the research Dr. Asier Unciti-Broceta.
