Low Level of Cholesterol Can Retreat Early Atherosclerotic Plaques Symptoms

A study was conducted on mice by Karolinska Institute in Sweden stated that early risk of atherosclerotic plaques disappears by lowering the level of bad cholesterol in the body. Lowering treatment of Cholesterol level in body may prevent advance and incurable plaques at clinical level. According to the observation half of unnatural deaths in this world occur due to heart attacks or through stroke. The main reason behind this is atherosclerosis, the area or region of the body where unwanted fat generated and collected for long time leads to the generation of blood clots. These blood clots in terms affect body through several others diseases like stroke and heart attack. Therefore, it is highly recommended to control or prevent these blood clots at initial level so that this can be cured and further not increase the risk of advanced plaque. One among the principal of study Dr Josefin Skogsberg says "If lowering of LDL cholesterol affects atherosclerosis in humans in the same way, our observations mean that clinically advanced plaques could be prevented if cholesterol-lowering treatments are administered early enough in individuals with increased risk of cardiovascular disease. However, the perennial problem is to identify these individuals with certainty,"
