Neural Crest Cells of Zebrafish Differentiated On The Basis Of Study Of Classification

Massachusetts General Hospital conducted a research which was lead by Dr. Eric C. Liao, Yawei Kong and Drs. Beste Kinikoglu. They all study and observe the characterized and the culture of the crest cell which is isolated from the embryos of the zebrafish. This was an important research which gains its place in Experiment in Biology and Medicines. The unique population of this neural crest cell found at the border of plate of neural which is responsible for the development process of vertebrate and embryogenesis. In other terms the development process of these processes entirely depends upon the powerful migratory cells. Any deformity occurs during the formation of neural crest lead occurrence of diseases like melanoma and malformations like palate and cleft lip. The first author of the study and a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Liao's laboratory, Dr. Beste Kinikoglu said that "We hope that our novel neural crest system will be useful to gain mechanistic understanding of NCC development and for cell-based high-throughput drug screening applications"
