Scientists Discover Link Between Fatty Liver Diseases and Cancer

Liver diseases can cause many complexities but the newest revelation is even more disheartening. Scientists have now established a link between fatty liver diseases and cancer. It is obesity, a syndrome that has affected over 5 millions of people in Australia alone that may result in such outcome.
As Geoff Farrell, the ANU professor of Hepatic medicine says; “We are not supporting an operation that can basically cure a population. That’s horrendous when we think that 12percent of the population have diabetes.” Considering the gravity of the situation, Farrell recommends Medicare to subsidize treatments for fatty liver diseases.
Some of the preventive measures that were suggested by the research team include healthy life style. To encourage people becoming healthy they suggest subsidizing the cost of joining and using a gym. Such steps could reduce the risks of liver cancer faced by obese people with or without diabetes because of problems of insulin circulations. In addition; further research on the subject is also warranted since thus far it is highly under researched.
