Your endurance training to be hampered by vitamin C and E supplements

Dr Goran Paulsen, who led the study at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences, explains: "Our results show that vitamin C and E supplements blunted the endurance training-induced increase of mitochondrial proteins, which are needed to improve muscular endurance." In the previous records of studies, it was examined that exercising lead to muscle oxidant production, thus proceeding to muscle adaption. And also big consumption of vitamins C and E behave as antioxidants, hence signaling the blockage of muscular endurance progress. As per the suggestions published by The Journal of Physiology, by disrupting cellular adaptions in exercised muscles progress in muscular endurance in humans can be minimized by vitamin C and E. But it is stated by the National Health Service (NHS) that it will most probably not cause any damage if one has an intake of vitamin E less than 540mg and vitamin C supplements less than 1000mg per day.
